Seasonal Kitchen Assistants

We are recruiting Kitchen Assistants for seasonal positions at St Andrews Holiday Park (KY16 8PX). Preparing desserts, operating the dishwasher and basic food preparation for the Head Chef are just some of the duties expected. The position will be available through to mid-November.

About the Role

The successful Kitchen Assistant will work in the kitchen at St Andrews Holiday Park.

Job Purpose

The Kitchen Assistant will provide assistance to the chefs during busy service in the kitchen.

Main Responsibilities

You will deal politely with all colleagues, holiday homeowners and guests, be always of smart appearance and wear the uniform provided by the Company.

The Kitchen Assistant will be directly concerned with, but not limited to, the following:

• Operating the dishwasher and replacing the items in their place of storage.
• Preparing deserts.
• Providing basic Food Preparation assistance to the Chefs.
• Assisting with deliveries.
• Serving customers at the takeaway.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and takeaway areas.

Full-time position: up to 40 hours per week

Part-time position: 16 - 24 hours per week

20 years and over £11.75 per hour

18 - 20 years £9.00

Under 18 years £8.25 per hour
